Out of Bounds: Fancy Reverses Galore

The Funny, Stupid Thing of the Day

Nuggets center JaVale McGee has to take it easy while rehabbing his injured leg. That doesn’t mean he can’t still have fun while doing it. JaVale shows how to go grocery shopping like a boss with Eazy E’s “Boyz N’ the Hood” as background music to put this Instagram video over the top.

Dime of the Night

76ers point guard Michael Carter-Williams may be a rookie, but he already knows when to add flash to his game. Check out this amazing, no-look pass to his teammate Thaddeus Young for the slam. MCW felt he was back on the playgrounds with that move.

Dunks of the Night

We have two dunks of the night that we can’t choose from because they’re both reverses that are too sick. The first features Wizards point guard John Wall doing what he does in the open court. The other is Suns forward Miles Plumlee showing nobody should sleep on his athletic ability. Not only was it a fantastic pass by his teammate Eric Bledsoe, but the finish by the older Plumlee was superb.

Fan of the Night

During the same Suns game last night, a fan hit the shot of the lifetime to win $77,777. That swish you heard is a nice new car or paid college tuition for his children. Even the Suns players got excited over that, as they quickly mobbed the lucky man to congratulate him.

Rejection of the Night

Everyone loves to see a point guard get up to reject a big man. Bucks guard Brandon Knight did just that against HEAT center Chris Andersen to deny his dunk attempt. Knight’s teammate John Henson finished the tremendous sequence on the other end with a put-back slam against the champs just to add salt to the wound.
